Just Saw a new Sherlock Holmes Trailer

When I first saw a trailer for this updated Holmes movie, I was pretty disappointed. But, I thought to myself, "it was only a short trailer, maybe the next one I see will renew my hope for this." I was very wrong. I just watched the most recent trailer and my heart sank. I'm very sad that today's youth won't know the real Sherlock Holmes, but instead this James Bond wannabe bastardized version.

Well I've decided to do my first supervillian for next years Dragoncon and its gonna be Dr. Doom. I have a voice amp that I'm installing in the mask and whenever I'm in costume I like to stay in character so I need some input as to what Victor Von Doom's voice would sound like (not the way Julian McMahon played him either!). I was thinking maybe a little German or Russian accent with a touch of Swedish thrown in. Anyone got any input?

Hello everyone,

I might need a little help.
I'm only writing because I am having a little difficulty. I have planned a trip to california to help and visit family. I will be staying in LA until the 8th. My flight leaves on the 2nd. I was originally getting a hostel booked through family but it fell under water.
If anyone here knows of a crazy el cheapo place to stay near hollywood, or even has an extra bedroom or a cobweb-filled basement. I would greatly appreaciate...

Hey guys. I was killing myself at D*C that we hadn't bought a really nice camera...so I'm starting to research. Here's what I'm hoping someone can help me find:

Price range 500-750$
Digital (duh)
9 or higher megapixels
SLR
Easy to use - We dont want to do the fidgiting that camera buffs do - we just want pretty pictures

So anyone have any suggestions? Right now we're looking at a Nikon at...

It's me..what else could it be but toys? LOL

DC Hotel Warning! DONT STAY HERE!!!

So anyway I was supposed to stay at the Baymont suites this year because all the host hotels were full. Two weeks before DC I called to confirm my reservation and was told that they had no record of my reservation. I gave them my name and the credit card I used to make the reservation and still they could not pull my name up. I ended up having to stay on the other side of town and missed most of the con because I was traveling between my hotel most of the time. Today I was checking my credit...

DragonCon parade problem

Some of you are aware that a Loomis armored car forced its way into the parade by blowing its horn and the driver using the PA system. The streets of course were closed for the parade. If it had been an emergency vehicle or delivering human organs, I wouldn't have a problem, but an armored car making its rounds can wait. The driver then bullied his way through a cross street packed with civilians to exit the parade route. What did Atlanta's finest do when a police officer saw this?...
