Applying a spandex skin to a Batman cowl

I'm going to be working on a Batman Beyond suit and want to make my own cowl. I was thinking of skinning a basic Batman cowl with spandex to match my suit and was wondering if anyone else has had any success doing this?
Here is what I was thinking of using as a base, except I would cut off the logo:

I have looked through the library and it seems that one of the favorite glues for masks is a spray adhesive. The one I have used sticks too fast. What is another glue that I can attach fabric (suede cloth) to a plastic mask. There will be a little stress on the material. I am doing a cloth cowl similar to GreenarrowFL.

Attaching A Pleather/Leather Emblem

I've seen a few folks who use pleather chest emblems for either Batman or Superman rather than a fabric emblem. If you do that do you still sew the symbol on or do you glue it? If you glue it, what kind of glue do you use because my regular craft glue doesn't seem to do the job? Thanks for any help.

I'm trying to put together a Speedy costume and I'm having pretty good luck of planning most of it, but the only thing really keeping it from getting the green light is that I can't find the right boots in my size. I'm a girl , so my feet are small. I wear about a 5.5 to 6 in US womens. I can only seem to find go go boots... :/

I don't mind painting them if I can't find them in yellow (apparently this can be done without cracking), I just want to find some...

Superman Belt

My current method of making a Superman belt is similar to wrapofcon's, involving vinyl fabric wrapped around 2mm foamie strips. These looks good and have held up pretty well, but occassionally I will see someone with a belt that is actully made of 2 inch wide yellow leather. Does anyone know where to get said yellow leather? I think that the actual leather would be a step up. Thanks.

Leg Muscle Suit .... Help

I need some advice. I was not blessed with Large Powerful Legs no matter how fast i run or how many squats i do ... so i plan to build a lower body muscle suit out of Compression Pants/Shorts and Foam. I'm not real sure what kind of foam i should use or where to buy it. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to build this and where to get supplies.

I just want to praise this product and let you know of it. It is nothing more elaborate than Tinfoil & Duct Tape - a Silver Metallic Tape that is the same diameter and uses as duct tape.

A lot of people have been asking for a "how to" on the 2" and 3" belts I make for my website costume belts. SO I decided to take pictures while I made one.

This is for a red 2" belt like I use on my Bat Woman belt, I use the same 2" press for my Superman belts, I just use a different color vinyl.

I am going to be building an Iron Man suit soon and I really want to do it right with all the lights and gizmos on it. What is the best way to get the eyes to light up yet still be able to see out of it? I think I have the arc reactor figured out and I have a voice amp already. Thought about just using little stick on lights for the repulsors. Now thinking about how to make a gatling gun and missile launcher. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
