There are many open areas on this mask which makes it difficult to build and even more difficult to keep the shape. Remember you have to use glue to keep the edges together because if you use tape the resin will make it fall off. At that point the helmet will be scrap. I did this build but I am not happy with my work. This one will take another try. If someone finishes please post a pic. BamaBat

Is there a way to size each peace so that it will fit me better? I have pepakura designer 3 and every time i try to adjust scales it has very small dimensions listed in millimeters and the scale is only at 50%. Just so you know I'm about 6 foot tall and 185 pounds. The other thing I was wondering is will I be able to wear this costume as it looks like it would be all one piece and even if i did get it on I wouldn't be able to move the joints. It just so happens I've remodelled my helmet, and now it's more accurate, detailed, and smoother. Not to mention I scaled it to fit my 24" head, so it'll fit us melonheads too. I'll post it later....

Posts: 1034 Mar 1 09 2:59 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	hmm... good point. you should be able to, i guess, if you print it off at the right scale. though my "v2" is a bit higher resolution than the "v1". the new helmet was designed more as a total replacement, than an add-on, and that extra lip would have made it impossible to put on. i'll see if i can build a separate lip at some point and make that available to ya. anything else you want me to throw in, while i'm at it? oh, i should really redesign the back plate, hehe

Just on suggestion, could you make the piece at the top of the face plate taper down a little more to allow for a larger opening at the vent. I think this would make for a more accurate look and make it easier to glass afterward. Just a suggestion. Your work on this project is outstanding and I give you props man. Thanks Richard

This has been my trouble. A file with these areas connected would be good then simply cut out the right areas. Let me know what you did. BamaBat

Also how did u fill the gap in the cheek/ mouth area. Last question... Have you tried wearing the hekmet and how does it fit? Any help wold be greatly appreciated
