Owing to health issues that surfaced in October during a dental appointment, I ended up seeing the doctor, and was put on medications. That was plenty of reason to get into a fitness program, and as a result, I have entered into a contract with Planet Fitness. Between watching my diet and workouts, I have managed to lose 15-18 pounds, so that I do not look so much like a "Fat Bat" anymore.
I don't expect to be perfect on this, and there have been hits and misses with this process. And I still need to get rid of fat in my midsection before work can begin on the abs. However, I also know that there is no choice but to move ahead on this, and I look forward to my workouts. Indeed, when I finish a good session on the treadmill, it energizes me. It is not quite easy, but it is needed.
