3 months ago I sent Justin Jotso, aka Jester Fx, aka JPFX on Etsy a Rocketeer Flash cowl to paint and he ripped it making it unwearable. He offered to patch it so I could at least use it for a display piece along with one of his Zoom cowls as compensation. After 2 months of excuses and no package he just stopped responding to messages, emails and phone calls. I did some digging, talked to some of his other disgruntled customers, who were not hard to find and determined that this is his m.o. Now I'm out $300 for the cowl and can't file a claim since no money changed hands but I will be filing a consumer complaint with the MD Attorney General and the BBB who already have complaints on file for his company.
There is also a possibility that he ripped the cowl while casting it. Two months after he told me a pic appeared on his page of an almost identical cowl.
So my advice if you decide to do business with Justin is to only use Paypal and insist that he insure the package. If you don't receive your merchandise within the 45 day limit make sure you file a claim.
