I'll be trying to organize a visit to the Nemours Children's hospital in Pensacola later this year and I'm eager to hear some other suggestions

I am a bit far away but I will travel when I can. I have always wanted to visit kids in the hospital. When I was in the hospital as a kid I would have loved for someone to visit me. Maybe it can be called NWFLCAHA. Northwest Florida Central Alabama Chapter of the HA BamaBat

I've already stared thinking of branch names.
HAM- Heroes Alliance Miami HAT- Heroes Alliance Tampa. HAPH- Heroes Alliance Pan Handle HAL- Heroes Alliance Louisianna Just me being silly. I don't care too much what the names or designations are right now. So long as we keep the misson first. |

 I suppose you could do like they did on the Teen Titans cartoon: To get past the censors, Deathstroke became simply
"Slade." So perhaps you could just be "Wade."

Marv Wolfman himself told me they had to call him Slade on the cartoon to get past the censors.

thanks to Carly and James for coming out to Santa Rosa Mall on Saturday- and a special thanks to Shane for helping set up the appearance. I know a lot of kids
got smiles on their faces from seeing the superheroes.

I have to say I had a blast Saturday! Thank you Allen, James, and Carly for making my first costuming gig a fun time. The reactions we got from some of the
kids were priceless and it was cool that we got to crash a birthday party in the food court to boot!
Some of the things I learned from my relatively short time in costume: 1. Accessories can and will malfunction from time to time. Be prepared...bring super glue! 2. Spandex + velcro = snag! 3. Regardless how obscure your character is, some people WILL know who you are. 4. Putting a smile on a kid's face makes it all worth while! I can think of more but I know I'm just preaching to the choir. Thanks again to those who made it happen. Hopefully I'll get some pics from the store manager tomorrow to share. Take care everyone.

who came out last Saturday...I have already been recieving phone calls asking when you guys are coming back to the mall. The kids had a great time...it was
worth it to see those smiles eh?? I sent Shane some pics...hopefully he will get them....my computer is a little buggy sometimes.
