We also will be welcoming several costumers from WPE. I will amend part III to include them as soon as possible.
IV. Carpooling:
For the Tampa group, I have enough room to bring all of you guys (John, Chrissy, Jason) you're welcome to stop over at my apartment at 1:45 and we will plan to leave at 2.
V. Changing:
Terri at BASE Camp has been kind enough to allow us to use a room at the Marriot to change in. Obviously any really involved stuff that takes time, (for example, rolling my hair for Wonder Woman) needs to be done prior. After changing, please be respectful by packing your stuff neatly. I'm unsure if we'll be able to store our things in one of the rooms, but since we do not have the keys, we'll secure our bags back in the trunk of my car until after the event. We will change back into civies around 6 and find a local place to eat. But please eat lunch before you come.
VI. Meeting with the Kids:
The BASE Camp Kids are absolutely amazing. Lock-ins give them a chance to talk to other kids going through a similar situation and just be kids for a weekend. So keep the interactions positive and light-same protocol as with hospital visits or GKTW. There will be a lot of different ages of kids here. So, activities with them are going to vary depending on the age. So, just be open and flexible.
VII. Pictures:
BASE Camp has been okay with us taking pictures so far, but as always be respectful and try not to take pictures if the kids look particularly unwell. People know what we do, we want give an accurate photographic account of what we've done, but we want to be very respectful to the kids and to BASE Camp.
